46到了耶利哥；耶穌同門徒並許多人出耶利哥的時候，有一個討飯的瞎子，是底買的兒子巴底買，坐在路旁。 47他聽見是拿撒勒的耶穌，就喊着說：「大衛的子孫耶穌啊！可憐我吧！」 48有許多人責備他，不許他作聲。他卻越發大聲喊着說：「大衛的子孫哪，可憐我吧！」 49耶穌就站住，說：「叫過他來。」他們就叫那瞎子，對他說：「放心，起來！他叫你啦。」 50瞎子就丟下衣服，跳起來，走到耶穌那裏。 51耶穌說：「要我為你做甚麼？」瞎子說：「拉波尼（就是夫子），我要能看見。」 52耶穌說：「你去吧！你的信救了你了。」瞎子立刻看見了，就在路上跟隨耶穌。

46Then they reached Jericho, and as Jesus and his disciples left town, a large crowd followed him. A blind beggar named Bartimaeus (son of Timaeus) was sitting beside the road. 47When Bartimaeus heard that Jesus of Nazareth was nearby, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

48“Be quiet!” many of the people yelled at him.

But he only shouted louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

49When Jesus heard him, he stopped and said, “Tell him to come here.”

So they called the blind man. “Cheer up,” they said. “Come on, he’s calling you!” 50Bartimaeus threw aside his coat, jumped up, and came to Jesus.

51 “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked.

“My Rabbi,” the blind man said, “I want to see!”

52And Jesus said to him, “Go, for your faith has healed you.” Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road.

29他們出耶利哥的時候，有極多的人跟隨他。 30有兩個瞎子坐在路旁，聽說是耶穌經過，就喊着說：「主啊，大衛的子孫，可憐我們吧！」 31眾人責備他們，不許他們作聲；他們卻越發喊着說：「主啊，大衛的子孫，可憐我們吧！」 32耶穌就站住，叫他們來，說：「要我為你們做甚麼？」 33他們說：「主啊，要我們的眼睛能看見！」 34耶穌就動了慈心，把他們的眼睛一摸，他們立刻看見，就跟從了耶穌。

29As Jesus and the disciples left the town of Jericho, a large crowd followed behind. 30Two blind men were sitting beside the road. When they heard that Jesus was coming that way, they began shouting, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”

31“Be quiet!” the crowd yelled at them.

But they only shouted louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”

32When Jesus heard them, he stopped and called, “What do you want me to do for you?”

33“Lord,” they said, “we want to see!” 34Jesus felt sorry for them and touched their eyes. Instantly they could see! Then they followed him.

35耶穌將近耶利哥的時候，有一個瞎子坐在路旁討飯。 36聽見許多人經過，就問是甚麼事。 37他們告訴他，是拿撒勒人耶穌經過。 38他就呼叫說：「大衛的子孫耶穌啊，可憐我吧！」 39在前頭走的人就責備他，不許他作聲；他卻越發喊叫說：「大衛的子孫，可憐我吧！」 40耶穌站住，吩咐把他領過來，到了跟前，就問他說： 41「你要我為你做甚麼？」他說：「主啊，我要能看見。」 42耶穌說：「你可以看見！你的信救了你了。」 43瞎子立刻看見了，就跟隨耶穌，一路歸榮耀與神。眾人看見這事，也讚美神。

35As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind beggar was sitting beside the road. 36When he heard the noise of a crowd going past, he asked what was happening. 37They told him that Jesus the Nazarene was going by. 38So he began shouting, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

39“Be quiet!” the people in front yelled at him.

But he only shouted louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

40When Jesus heard him, he stopped and ordered that the man be brought to him. As the man came near, Jesus asked him, 41“What do you want me to do for you?”

“Lord,” he said, “I want to see!”

42And Jesus said, “All right, receive your sight! Your faith has healed you.” 43Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus, praising God. And all who saw it praised God, too.
